“If you were born to become a Hacker, then it’s your DESTINY . Otherwise you will end by being HACKED”
-Amine Essiraj
The world today is growing so fast along with the technologies in it. We have to get updated to sustain in this hi-tech world. As the technologies grow our interest to know them also grows. Once you involve into those stuffs you start thinking out of box for creating your own. Here comes a category who are called Hackers, they always think out of box.
When anyone says this word Hacker the people surrounded will think only the bad side of a Hacker. Definition of a Hacker is ” A person who identifies the weakness/ loop holes/ vulnerabilities of a system and gains access to that target is called as Hacker” . The main thing is we get confused between a Hacker and a Cracker (i.e) A good one and the bad one.
There are two main types of hats for categorizing the hackers and they are: White hat and the Black hat Hackers.
White Hat Hackers are the Ethical hackers who hack for a good cause. They have official permission and sign few bonds with the company for performing their Hacks. The White hats are hired by both the government and the private companies to perform the penetration testings for securing their data from the bad one.
Black Hat Hackers are the Crackers who hack for revenge and cause only damages to their targets. They don’t have any legal permissions for intruding into others system. They do this for their own happiness and for the revenge at their enemies. Shortly called as Evil part of technology world.
Keeping this White and Black hat few categories are created to specify each hacker where uniquely they belong to. One of those category is the Grey Hat hacker. They stand between the White hat and the Black hat. They intrude into other’s system without any permission and also they reveal the loop holes and vulnerabilities present in that system.
Next category is Script Kiddies. They are the newbies with no knowledge on the technical skills. They use formerly created tools to get their target down. They do this for getting famous among their friends. They are the most dangerous category since they are unskilled and never think about the result.
Next comes the Green Hat Hackers, These people are harmless. They are more curious on observing and learning about the hacking world. They learn Hacking out of their excitement and are not like script kiddies.
Next is the Red Hat Hackers. Their main task is run behind the Black Hat Hackers and ruin the works done by them. They try to intrude and destroy the Black Hat works. They work for private companies.
Next is the Blue Hat Hackers, They use their skills to take revenge on their enemies.
Social Engineers are the next category. They perform psychological manipulations on people to gather information they want. Most of the time they perform Eavesdropping to get most confidential data.
The main point to add is you can also become a Hacker but think wisely on choosing your category. You can’t easily become a Hacker, It is based on how much effort you put on that. It might take years to master on that, so until then keep a track on your skills.
All the best! Keep progressing…
My name’s Dharani Meena. This is my new blog site where I’m gonna post information about Hacking techniques. I am a Lone Girl (Cat Queen) interested to explore unknown world and more anxious to learn new things. The theory “SURVIVAL TO THE FITTEST” was rephrased as “SURVIVAL TO THE FASTEST” and now I rephrase is to “SURVIVAL TO THE SMARTEST”. I trust this words and Smart people could pave their path to heights. Finally I am a Anonymous Lioness Hunting all alone to survive
